The UN Climate Change Conference (COPS25) will be held in Madrid, December 2-13 this year. The battle between the Climate Change Alarmists and the those who believe that alarmism is not warranted is heating up. You can find out the details of the COPS25 agenda here. There will be groups of dissenters at this meeting. One of these groups lead by Viv Forbes of Australia will present their No Climate Emergency petition at the Climate Reality Forum. This petition has already been presented to the UN Secretary General, the European Commission and the European Parliament. The petition is based in part on the Ten Reasons for Australia to Exit Paris Now document issued on January 17, 2019.
The case for Global Warming Alarmism (GWA) continues to unravel since my last post on this topic on August 25, 2019 – Michael Mann Loses Lawsuit Against Tim Ball. Here are some of my latest findings that show that GWA is unwarranted:
- Over the past 30 days, the USA set 8,742 new all-time low temperature records, Electroverse News, November 20, 2019. This refutes the dire predictions of the GW alarmists, but is consistent with the NASA prediction that the next solar cycle will be the lowest in 200 years.
- New Software To Help Climate Alarmists by Tony Heller of Real Climate Science, September 20, 2019 – demonstrates how climate alarmists cherry pick data in support of their claims.
- Is Our Planet Doomed? Refutes the claim that our planet only has 12 years to go.
- Green New Deal: Fact versus Fiction. Refutes the claims made by AOC and others that fossil fuels can be replaced by renewable energy soon.
